When is the best time to visit Australia?

Australia is renowned for its extreme summer weather, and the summer months from December - February can see highs of 45 degrees Centigrade and more. Our tours stay close to the coast, where the majority of Australians live and where the temperatures are more moderate. But it is still recommended to travel during the shoulder seasons and winter from March - November. Temperatures remain pleasantly warm and there is little rainfall during this time, perfect for both sightseeing and beachside relaxation.

What transport do you use in Australia?

As you probably know, Australia is huge! Whilst we do drive between many destination, we also make use of the country's efficient domestic flight network. Domestic flights are included in your tour package and clearly labelled on the itinerary.

When travelling by road in Australia, we make use of private coaches and minibuses, and when visiting islands, the use of ferries and other boat travel is also included in your tour where relevant.

Whether you're travelling on one of our Handpicked Australia tours or our Essentials trips, the maximum group size is just 16, providing a fun and intimate group tour experience.

Our Essentials tours generally cater to a younger demographic than our Handpicked tours, attracting travelers mainly in their 20s, 30s and 40s. On our Handpicked trips, travelers tend to be in the 30 - 60 age bracket but we also welcome travelers both older and younger on these trips.
