Travel Advice

The safety of our travelers is of utmost importance and we stay up-to-date with the latest travel alerts and advice.

Your safety and security

Travel advice changes from time to time and we act accordingly. As a British-based company, we monitor the advice given by the British Foreign Office (FCDO).

We use information from the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and reports from our own contacts in assessing whether the itinerary should operate. We only cancel tours when the FCDO advises 'against all travel' to a country and reports from our local teams confirm the same. This rarely happens though at other times we may have to make changes to our itineraries to avoid specific areas of a country where advice against all travel has been issued. Please see our terms and conditions for more information on tour changes and cancellations.

All travel involves some risk and travelers should familiarize themselves with the latest travel advice for the country they are visiting and make a personal assessment as to whether the level of safety is satisfactory to them, prior to booking.

Israel Travel Advice

22 February 2024,

Tours to Israel cancelled up till and including Sunday 30 June 2024

In light of the ongoing conflict in southern Israel near the border with Gaza, and changes to international travel advice for visiting Israel, we are cancelling all tours departing from or travelling to Israel up till and including Sunday 30 June 2024.

The FDCO advice for Israel has changed and hence holidays will not be departing as planned. Options available to travelers who have yet to depart, (up till Sunday 30 June 2024) are:

1. If travelling on a multi-country tour keep the same holiday arrangements but exclude the Israel section from the end of your tour. A credit note will be provided for the Israel section of your tour, and you may like to use this towards extending your stay at the Dead Sea or Amman or for arrangements in another country i.e. Turkey. Any remaining balance will be honored as a credit note which can be used for any tour, any destination valid till 30 October 2025.

2. Defer your tour to a departure date later in 2024 (and pay no more)

3. Receive a credit note for all funds paid to be used for any tour, any destination valid till 30 Oct 2025.

4. Cancel with 100% cancellation fees.

Please let us know your preferred choice before 01 May 2024. If we don’t hear from you before this date your booking will be cancelled with 100% cancellation fees.

We have local teams in every city and many remote locations in Israel, Jordan and Egypt that we are communicating with regularly. Having completed a new assessment today we can confirm that except for Israel, all services and arrangements in Egypt and Jordan are unaffected and continue to operate as normal.

For clients travelling to Israel after 1 July up till 31 July 2024 a decision as to whether your tour will operate will be made on Wednesday 15 May 2024.

Iceland Volcano Eruption

02 April 2024,

A volcanic eruption is currently underway on the Reykjanes Peninsula of Iceland. As a result, the Blue Lagoon has temporarily closed. Alternative touring arrangements will be made for those who are due to visit to Blue Lagoon during this closure.

The eruption's effects are concentrated at the site and do not pose a threat to visitors' safety. Despite the volcanic activity, all other services in Iceland are functioning normally, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.

Flights in and out of Keflavík Airport and tours are operating as planned. Our local partners are monitoring the situation, and should it be necessary to make any itinerary changes for upcoming departures we will be in touch accordingly.
